Roll your eyes all day but the only way you're going to be able to help yourself and get maximum knowledge out of this forum is to learn how to use the search engine. There's literally dozens of threads answering that question.

You can run in either slot. If you use the bottom one switch the jumpers to the SLI position to switch the bottom slot from x2 to x8.

i would say that at one point or time most questions that people ask, have already been answered at one point on the forums..

KrueL, the point is, your question gets asked 8 times a day. So then when someone told you how to arrive at the solution, you just continue being lazy and ask somewhere else, while belittling the people who tried to help you in the first place.

I have a big research paper due...could you do the research for me? And don't even think of telling me to search for it!!!!!

sigh... people come to the forums to talk to people.. to ask, and answer questions. If i wanted to search for the answer.. i would have searched google.. instead, i wanted replies from people like me, that might have dealt with the same situation. So what if the question has already been ask numerous times? If it wasnt for the repeat questions.. the forums would be boring. If the thread doesnt appeal to you, or if you think its a "stupid question" why even bother going in and trying to make the person feel bad for asking the question?

Because you made a point to criticism this forum, with the F word and all. And the forums would be USEFUL without repeat questions. A good deal of time is spent just dealing with this question and the "MY CHIPSET FAN DIED!!!!" posts.

And it's not a stupid question. It's just not worth repeating, since it's been answered hundreds of times over.
