if you running bf2 at 1920x1200 u'll atleast want 1.5gb..i run it flawlessly on my 7800GT at 1920x1200 on the good ol 24".

 

Also you'll want to give the drive a good defragging after install any big games and defrag it once or twice a week, don't over do it or it'll wear the drive out.
