p17ch_8l4ck Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 So this whole problem started one day when I came home and my system was blue screened. After rebooting the system it sits at post only displaying the CPU for about anywhere from 8-15 minutes before actually booting up. I can get to windows and use it for a few minutes before it blue screens. I've tryed all new components that could cause the problem except for the CPU and MoBo. I just ask because lightning or some other problem with electricity might harm the system as well. Hopefully you're sure that nothing like that occured. p17ch_8l4ck Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 I went to work for about four hours and there wasn't any storms around and I have a pretty good surge protector which is attached to a UPS. It could be a failing Hard drive ??? have you swapped HD's or tested it with factory diagnostic software ? Have you teasted with another PSU also ?
