s4rge Posted August 18, 2003 Posted August 18, 2003 (edited) It does not say unknown cpu @ bootup or bios, but if i set it to 13.5x149 thats 20115mhz! Over and close to 2ghz which is 2400+! I have 2100 ram and getting 3200 this wensday or even thursday, anyway how do i get my cpu to say another cpu like 1800+ do i need something x 166 or something x200 or somethign x133 to get the right name. Thanks guys /edit: just tryed 333mhz memory and 166fsb and 12.5 mut. and it still stayed @ 1700+! asus a7v8x. sticker pc2100 ram guess thats all you need. Notice the circle how mines say "1700+ and the other says Amd thlon" IT seems like my cpu is locked to its name what the heck! My last 2 did the same, lucky me! Use 12.5x133?
