SaFrOuT Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 if u will O/C and all u care about is Benchmarks and stuff then get DDR500 ( DDR600 si not easy at all on 2GB modules ) but in real life they proved that an O/Ced cpu with RAM @ DDR400 and tight timings is the same AS the ram @ high speeds with loose timings so i went for the DDR400 with tight timings 2-3-2-5 and still it O/C like hell
nitemareglitch Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 but in real life they proved that an O/Ced cpu with RAM @ DDR400 and tight timings is the same AS the ram @ high speeds with loose timings I just want stable real world performance. That is what I see everyone finding out that the RAM does not make a big difference, and tight timings seem to be the way to go for me.
