hht55555 Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 A lot ppl got 2x1024 out there hit more than 260. So, it's not true that 2x1024 can only got 225. You just need to get the right one. Moreover, from my experiences, OCZ, Mushkin, Ballistix all got over 260, but Ballistix came out on top. I'm sure that some new G.SKILL & OCZ kits would be nice too. Let us know how the G.SKILL goes. marscay Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 you're guaranteed to get ~ 270 on the dfi board with a set of ballistix all things being equal ....i haven't seen may sticks not hit at least this far ....of course there's no guarantees apart from the 250 the sticks are rated too expensive but the best 1gb sticks around easily your memory controller comes into play heavily on these 1gb sticks too so that is another factor to be considered
antistar Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 I just picked up cheap old crucial value 1gb sticks. They OC about 225-230. Good OC for how much i paid for them I think.
