Angry_Games Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 soundx98's thread for MBM5, with a modified file to work on the NF2, NF3, and NF4 boards (Infinity and Lanparty NF2) you will have to ask if it works with the 939 AGP NF3 http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6798
jeremywills Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Thanks Travis, this will surely help some folks out around here, and just another chance to thanks SoundX for providing the appropiate changes for the program
NEOAethyr Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 Check these out dudes, for the lpb: V12=DFI NFII LANParty Ultra B V12V1=$20*0.016000 // VCORE V12V2=$21*0.016000 // VAGP V12V3=$22*0.016000 // +3.3v V12V4=$23*0.016/0.595 // +5v V12V5=$24*0.016/0.263 // +12v V12V6=$25*(0.016*0.287)-12 // -12v V12V7=$26*0.01600 // VMEM V12V8=$50*0.016/0.66B5 // +5VSB V12V9=$51*0.016000B5 // VBAT //V12V?*0.016/0.5875 // North Bridge ?? Special thanks goes to: Humbo, for making the thread "Hardware Monitor support for more than 3.0vdimm?". http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34926 barebear, for posting the "fix" . Oskar Wu / Ken This is what is in the Readme.txt. I was able to figuer out the calculations and translate them to mbm form. Seems alot more accurate to me. Btw, am I allowed to post in this thread? If this post was all good then del this comment . Edit: The -12v readback in mbm is odd though, the rest seems allright to go by. It's defently diffrent from what the bios says' the -12v rail is. Being that I can't adjust the -12v rail right now, I don't think it matters anyways. Generally these are around probably .1 off, meaning 11.9 for +12v is actually probably 12. Something like that. I don't have a dmm though. Same goes for +5v amd +3.3v.
RedDwarf Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 The Northbridge temperature on the Lanparty B is not correct as I downloaded the settings file for the Lanparty B and the temperature is far too low. I have an analogue sensor on my T Balancer which is connected to the Northbridge heatsink and that reads higher (39°C) whereas the settings file I downloaded from that thread shows the northbridge temp as 26°C). The real northbridge temp is even higher than mine. It looks like NEOAethyr's Northbridge setting is for a voltage rather than a temperature. I do not think that the nForce2 has a temperature diode in the chipset.
RedDwarf Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 I do have a reading that I would expect to be closer to the chipset temperature but as I said in the previous post I do not believe that the nForce2 has a thermal diode. I have a reading for MAX1617-9(local) which shows a reading of 57°C ATM. This is a bit higher than I would expect based on the fact that my system is doing very little and has low CPU activity. My T Balancer analogue sensor on my northbridge heatsink shows 33°C ATM.
NEOAethyr Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Well there is no termalsistor(Bad spelling probably) around the mosfets, nor anywhere else on the board. Only a bit away from the south bridge, and in the corner of the cpu socket. I don't see how you guys could say there is no diode unless you had the data sheet maybe, or src code for the actual chipset. I've seen many people state that but what are you guys looking for that says no diode? Are you going into other programs when you startup before starting up mbm or speedfan? I know if you run everest, and click on the sensor tab, it screws up that temp. Making it way low, around 10-20c maybe. It also mears(darn spelling of mine) to a lm75, both the socket temp and orignal "northbridge?" temp. I noticed this in speedfan anyways, I never checked to see if I had access to them in mbm. However it screws up the main temp never the less. On my system, it hovers around say 32c when my socket iseither 34-36c, stuff like that. Around 2-4c off my socket. But it does'nt allways chnage with it of course. Also my noth bridge, the main thign that heats it up is the heatsink on my cpu. It runs pretty cool here, I've even ran it at 266 @ 1.8v vdd with no heatsink once. I touched it, not hot at all during that time, though I put it back on. My heatsink fell off because it was hot glued in place, that'll teach me to hot glue big heatsinks lol.... Anyways yeah the above posts were for voltages only. I'm re-setting up mbm anyways, since I lost my last config. I'm close to the 3.33v. However +5v and +12v I'm still not sure of yet. Some of the other ones don't seem right to me either from my above post, working on it though. Voltages wise, fromt he bios it's self. The +3.33v is off by 0.165, you add to the bios reading that much to get real it seems. Which is 2.5% off. I figuered this out from my psu, the red and green lights... The +5v. It's off by 0.1, you add to the bios that much and you get real it seems again. Again got the reading from the psu's leds. The +12v, i don't know yet. I don't quite have it right in mbm yet to share anything really. I worked on it for alittle bit yesterday but fell asleep.
