Matt13 Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 So I tried the Patriot LL 2-3-2-5 and got nothing but headaches with my Lan Party. at DDR400 2-3-2-5 or 2-3-2-7, I got random reboots when loading windows, when I got to windows, running 3dmark 05 and Prime95. If I loosened the timings to 2.5-3-3-7, the system ran without a hitch overclocked to 217mhz. The thing is, both sticks memtested through 15 passes each, so they weren't bad sticks. I need 2x1GB because everything ran so much smoother compared to my 2x512 VXs. My questions is, what 2x1GB RAM is working for you DFI NF4 users? century child Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 The Corsair TWINX2048-3200C2 looks to have some great potential. A shop in my area is selling some pretested to run at 250 with 2.5-3-3-6 timings! They were tested on a LanParty UT nF4 Ultra D with a 3000+ Venice. I'm looking at picking up some of this stuff soon.
