Ok her goes my first question !

I have two 512, one bank2 and one in bank 4.

When I try to put in one extra in bank one....boot failure....

 

There must be somthing that Iam missing.

(the extra is of same type)

You cannot run three sticks in that configuration on NF4. It is a dual-channel controller, and is meant to be used as such. It may work if you put the 1GB stick in the slot furthest from the CPU. Boot to BIOS, and make sure you set CPC "DISABLED" (2T). SAve, reboot. Shut down and put the other 2 sticks in and try to boot to BIOS. Load optimized defaults, save and reboot again. It may just work in that manner, but you MUST run CPC DISABLED (2T). Also, I doubt you can run that setup at the marked timings. At best, I'd bet on 2.5-4-4-x, but expect 3-3-3 or higher, which shouldn't be an issue.

Can I put in 4x512, one in each mem slot? :confused:

 

Or to put it another way, how can I install 4x512MB mudules on this MoBo? :)

Ah, hell, I see it was TWINX, aka, dual. (smacks forehead). Just follow the same procedure I outlined, except start with a pair in the orange slots, then add the yellow after switching to 2T. They SHOULD play together, but it would be better if they were all the same.
