All I can say it DON'T buy the board. The problems with it are insane. Funny how my MSI Neo Platinum just works straight away. No unplugging sata power no cold boot issues, nothing. Problem solved

I wouldn't touch it if he was giving it away. He'll be doing what I'll be doing and dumping a board that doesn't work for one that does. There are so many issues with this board its totally insane

Can anyone help me out. What boot order do I set in the bios. My raptors are in a raid 0 and seem ok on their own (plugged into ports 3 & 4) as soon as the third drive is plugged it tries to boot from it. Just running the raptors alone when it gets into windows causes a pop up saying nvidia repairing raid array. What the heck is the nvidia boot agent for ? Should that be the first bootable device ? Thanks in advance. Oh anyone know why norton seemed to screw it up ? or simply coincidence ?

why the heck is popping the battery necessary. Jesus these boards are Junk. How the heck can it be an overclockers board. I can't change anything in the bios without disconnecting the sata power. Gosh thats really handy. NOT Are DFI ever gonna write a decent bios for this board ? Or shall I just R.A it. Damn P.O.S :mad:

same here mate. I did manage to get windows installed but now nothing. Firest disconnect you power lead, clear the cmos for 20 secs. Power it back up and see if you can load optimized defaults.

installed windows, moved to another room. now the thing won't power up at all nothing, gets power to the board but won't post

its a real problem with mine. I disconnected the power after installing windows, moved it to another room and now it won't power up at all. the smallest sure gets through the board to nudge the fan but thats it.

Got the sata working now, it was the power cable thing. Creating the raid is now the problem. After its done and posts a single raid all is fine, but somehow windows still recognises it as two disks. I set it as a 128k stripe. I'm confused ? Note: All sorted. Angry's guide works just fine if you read ALL the pages. Sheesh I'm a dumbass

disconnect power to sata drives ? What would that have to do with the bios ? If I do that how can I possibly set up my rapotors in a raid ?
