do u have health in ur bios if you do. then you can adjust what temp ur fan turns on full. but having said that beware if ur temps really that hot probly thermal contact. dont be misled obout the amount of thermal stuff u apply just a little may not be enough.

try running occt for the standard test if you pass ur problem will be software

hi all my problem is i live and dont know how. i have done the mod on my mb 11 times. 2 of those times it booted to sli at post. while it was posting sli i installed driver nvid 77.72. installed card 2 posting sli next time i restarted it was standard. redid mod and was still standard, but i had put the bridge on, my system boots to nf4 standard at this time, yet it looks like my system is operating in sli as my scores seem to be too good for a single 6600gt 3d mark 2001 se 26,889. other marks are similarly elevated. how can this be. any thoughts on whats up? is it the vid drivers per chance ok so i would like to know what some other sli 6600gt with bridge scores are please, any all tests thanks

i got a copy from both futuremark and major geek. when i try to run it putr locks up. whats up i m sure its probly one of my setting. ware to look

so get this mr roadie i have a bridge on my rig. ran am3 score 84,731 thats with it posting sli just now my rig decided it was nf4 standard again so ran am3 again and scored 87,282. what do you think

yea i think that u are like most of us. at the limit of the on chip controllers im on water and more voltage doesnt seem to be the answer i can get into the vary low 3 gig area but as soon as i try testing it craps out. but at my sig no problem no errors

if your using pc5000 and runing fsb at 255 try 2.5 3 5 3 with ur volt at 2.6 mine works occt 13 hr prime 13 hr i stop them no errors i got these from ex roade post he has a rig with this in his sig

mine are both in and they show up in everest.

ok so 11 tries later and an excavation {big pit on board} my ultra has decided to go to sli again. i used the cuircut writer on it. i guess this proves that it is only a contact issue. so if it doesnt work for you the first time keep at till it duz. thanks x roade.

tried this mod again still posting nf4 standard im a retired electronic tech from a major ic fab so these kinds of things are not new to me im still not sure why this worked till i installed the second v card and is now disfunctional is there any possible reason other than the obvious poor contact issue thanks

im wondering about this problem. i have now redone this mod 7 times in two days. this is a very elimentary one on modding scales. it did say sli in post . installed the new nvidia drivers turned iff putr install 2nd vidio card and now my board says nf4 standard. when roadie said this sometimes happens with grafite i aggree. . i can see the pads glisen in the sunlite but still no sli. pray for me i think ill have a rum & not think about it more tonight thanks gary

crap spent 14.09 bucks for circuit writer and it still posts nf4 standard. i guess ill try scraping the mountains a little more. what i dont get is it posted for a couple weeks as sli so you would think i at least had sufficiantly exposed the connections hmmmm

yea i would try solder bet my stations temp controler out of control probly be a poor choice but it would save the cash of buying pencil. if i had o low power pencil i sure would. when the shack opens ill just get a liquid pen.
