  1. Thanks! That actually does exactly what I wanted. I do though eventually like to make my own software, but that's probably a ways down the road in my programming career. It doesn't stream in HD, at least not over a wireless connection, but I'm still impressed with the lack of lag in the streaming.

glad I could help...works perfect for streaming music to my phone...keeps me from having to have it all stored on a card

  2. Hey I said Happy birthday too!!! I is not a GUY!! haha. JK JK. Calm it down boss. Don't cha know? eh? psh hahahaha. Damn I've been talking like a Canadian since I left. Curse you...

    But Happy Birthday again Dave!

  3. I agree with Black, if you are just going to be using it for email and MS Office, I would save some cash and get a netbook.

I have had my ASUS Eee PC for about 3 years now and it does exactly what I need it to do, browse the web, little photoshop, and word processor...

    hope this helps

  4. I disagree completely.

Vista and 7 are essentially indistinguishable from a hardware requirements standpoint. I don't think Vista is bad at all and I've been using it since it was released (before, even). I honestly don't understand the hate people throw its way except for the "it's cool to hate on Vista" thing that started somehow.

If I had to choose between XP and Vista I'd never choose XP on any relatively modern hardware.

I totally agree Waco...VISTA did have it's flaws, however every OS does but it wasnt as bad as everyone says...at first it was hard to find some drivers, but after a few months of it being on the market they were readily available...:D

  5. I run with the Asics GT-2160, they are very comfortable and light weight for my distance runs...currently working on getting ready for a half-marathon Oct 22nd. Ran 11.2 miles Sunday in 2:04:13

I did get my feet checked out when I bought them the first time to see what kind of support I need with my arch and running style...I did only start running about 4 weeks ago, was training for the Warrior Dash up here in Michigan which is only a 5k with obstacles. Got into it and decided to stick with the running thing, doing the 10 Mile Crim on the 27th of this month too...going to be a blast!

  6. Did I ever tell you I hate you :P

16:10 is just the perfect aspect ratio for max productivity AND great media playback!

yeah lower quality video files that I have on the computer dont look the best blown up to full screen, however...I can have OCC open and snapped to the left side of the screen and my excel workbook open on the right side and get a pretty damn good size on both...(to be exact its 1280x1570 on both windows with the taskbar always on top)
