Overclocking a dell E510

Recommended Posts

Right now I would really like to overclock my dell dimension E510 I have tried guides on how to overclock other dimensions but none for the E510 so I was wondering if anyone has heard of a way? right now my cpu clock is at 2.9ghz, I would like to get it to 3.2ghz which is the minimum requirements for call of duty 6. Even without the overclock do you think I could still run it?

I didnt think overclocking was even possible on a Dell, mainly because of the BIOS being locked. And by COD 6 you do mean Modern Warfare 2 dont you? Because that games minimum cpu requirement is a 2.4 Ghz dual core or better, and since your Pentium 4 is a single core i doubt it would be playable. But the rest of your PC should handle it, the cpu is the problem here.
