Took my first animal with my recurve today.

I have never owned a compound bow myself. My 1 and only bow I ever owned was a recurve, and since I have never shot a compound bow I would like to try before going back to recurve. That is if I get back into archery now that I am into shooting guns again.

 

Well I can't recommend enough archery in general, if compounds are your thing then awesome! Most people sooner or later switch to traditional archery though, in pursuit of challenge. I started out with a compound too, I only sold it because I needed the funds to purchase traditional gear, otherwise I'd have kept it and kept shooting it here and there, but after getting into shooting traditional I'll never go back. There is just something about it.
