althought m2+ddr2 are right around the corner i would wait a few months after it's release before buying the new tech

get soldering flux (liquid stuff that removes oxidation from wires) i use a technique called tinning. basically get the iron hot a put a little solder on the "blade" of the iron. the solder on it will heat the wire faster and almost 100% of the time the solder on the "blade" will coat itslef on the wire. it take a little practice but in 15minutes you can be a pro.

dont get 4x512 plz, it's just a waste. get a dfi mobo + 2x1gb. if u have the money get these http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/se...CMP=OTC-FROOGLE these are cheaper and i have heard the work well http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820231021 and if you can i would get a 3700 sandy instead of that 3500 venice and i also suggest a better power supply

Exactly my 3700 was stable at 2.8 and i could go well into 3ghz on suicide runs. If it isnt stable it doesn't mean much of anything. I have seen 7ghz suicide runs on Intel cpu's. If they could get it stable THEN i would be impressed.

i wish gaming computers were like console systems. i'd love to pay less that what it cost the manufacturer to make the parts.
