Hey everyone I'm looking for a new sound card to go with my new Razer Tiamat 7.1 headset. Money isnt too much of an issue but Asus released their new ROG sound card. I'm all for their ROG gear, i have their GTX 580 and motherboard both by Asus's ROG. But i was wondering is the ROG sound card really worth it? Under their discription they seem to have put alot of attention into sound cancelling but i dont really need that as i'm chilled at home when i game. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks all

yeeeah well i want to upgrade, now the thing is, i have the Crosshair V mobo, so i can get the bulldozer, which is good but i kow Intel is better however, a new mobo+cpu is a lot considering I was wanting a PCI HDD but if i go for intel then that'll have to wait ¬_¬ On the plus side, my Lian Li 2120 comes in the post monday :D:D

Hello, i'm really hoping that you have a crosshair V mobo and 8 core CPU rather than an Intel user ¬_¬ lol I was wondering if you would use the overclocking tool however chose to disable 4 of the cores whilst doing it? It's the only way i can get a propper comparrison if you wouldnt mind doing so kindly for me before i buy it? Thankyou very much if you do :DDD

Watercooling Information & Suggestions
scorpain replied to radodrill's topic in Overclocking and Cooling
Hey all, merry christmas before i start asking questions And all the best for the new year!!1 I have just bought the EK watercooling kit and set it all up but my temperatures are a little high and i was wondering which component would be best to replace first in order to improve cooling better? The kit that i bought was the: EK H3O Watercooling Kit - Supreme LT 120 Which comes with: - EK-Supreme LT - UNI (universal CPU block based on EK-Supreme LT) - EK-Backplate CPU Universal - EK-CoolStream RAD XT (120) - Yate Loon D12SH (2200rpm) or Yate Loon D12SM (1650rpm) - EK-DCP 2.2 Pump - EK-Reservoir Combo DCP 2.2 - EK-DCP PUMP mounting plate KIT - TUBE Masterkleer 12,7/9,5 CLEAR (2 meters) - EK-PSC Fitting 10mm - G1/4 Nickel (6 pcs) - EK-Ekoolant UV Blue (concentrate 100ml) - TIM Arctic Cooling MX-2 (EKWB 2g) I hare already had to replace the CPU block to the full nickel but will swap it back to plexi when i get the correct mounting bracket because it looks as though it would cool a lot better, the full nickel one is a bit of a slack design i find. I have 2 fans around the rediator both pushing out but my temps rite now for my CPU is 30-34*, and im just typing this out so it's a little warm i thik in comparison to my old fan. Thankyou for all of your time and all the best Scorp -
It wont happen. AMD have a nice "Cheap and Good" range of CPU where as Intel lead in expensive and brutal. Because of this, they know that they will have a small but steady x turn-over from CPU's on desktops. Or we just bite fingernails untill FEB to hear more about this XD

I would go with which ever has the best timings, (x-x-x-xx) The lower the better. I know that G.Skill give life time warranties to all of their RAM products, im not sure about the others mind. All the best
