Yup, mine still does it occasionally but it's settled down now, also noticed that if I unplug and plug my X-FI the mobo has hard time recognising it at all, quite annoying these little quirks on the board.

Dunno how that differs from my open air setup....oh well. Well....I found 2 Sapphire X1950 PRO cards for cheap so im gonna run a Crossfire setup and see how that feels like

anybody here running a 8800 GTS/GTX on this board, and if so how is it working for you ? My X1800XT got fried and im trying to decide wether to get a 8800GTS or just stick with a cheap X1950 PRO or sumthing untill the DX10 cards mature a bit. i'ts just that i've had more than enough troubles with this mobo so far and it would literally kill me if I spend 400€ on a highlevel GFX and it's ends up badly, lol. So all input is appreciated.

Dunno whos or what's magic hand touched this board, but it's up and running flawlessly for a change. Priming on the backgroud as I type this at 3ghz/1.325V temps being around 30C idle and 50C full load, so I can't complain anymore:) Not gonna pursue a higher OC for now, as im running with a Radeon 550 at the moment and dont see the benefits of higher clocks in everyday use and I'd like to keep the juice as low as possible. I end this with a few pics, and yes im a thermalright fan. Revived my board and flashed to this 11/15/06 Bios, but im starting to think my board is toasted. I cant go past even 300fsb....board wont boot, it turns on for a sec and instantly shuts dow. And yes I have read thru the OC guides thoroughly. highest it got was a pathetic 280fsb but anything above that and it's no boot, lol. Dunno if I've missed an important tweak or something but it's starting to get annoying, im not asking for much 9x300 would be more than enough for me.

Im getting weird mouse laggs with my Razer Copperhead 1st Edition, only occasional but annoying as hell, it happens when I move the cursor very fast...it totally shuts down, cursor not moving at all. Installed the drivers from the install CD and from Razers own site, anybody having similar issues ? or is this just another "feature" of the board.

My board died after flashing to the 12/01/06 Bios, dunno if it was the bios itself or just very bad luck. The board is up and running now but it needed hotflashing and several other tweaks including alot of praying and cursing Dont think i'll flash the bios again ever...last time was too nerve wrecking for me.

Awww....you gave up on it, im in the same boat with you tho...not having high hopes that my board will suddenly spring to life. Well it gave me 1 night of OC action, but that's a bit steep at a 150 euros. Good luck with the Abit.

Tried out your board yet after RGone's tips SnortChiba ? dont have time to mess around with mine tonight, will have to try it one more time later this week with a fresh bios chip and maybe banging it with my fist or sumthing :tooth:

I smell some sarcasm in there....thats fair tho im no pro when it comes down to this stuff but not exactly panicking either, just pissed as hell . I've tried all that what was posted above and the board is still the same way, red led of death, power is on, fans run, no beeps no nothing just a black screen and me scratching my head. I'll go take my chip hotflashed tomorrow but im thinking my board is toasted and it ain't the bios afterall. and yes...i failed to notice the obvious: "IMPORTANT NOTICE : The BIOS and Drivers in this section are still under evaluation. Ummm...i havent tested any value ram at any point, i think ur mixing me with somebody else. I installed my XP with the default bios, ran with that for a night and then disaster struck after installing the newest bios from DFI's website. But i just found a shop that does hotflashes to chips, they just need the chip and the rom. bin. etc file with you. so now im asking which bios do i dare to take with me.....2006/11/15 ?

Im still not given up on this....but dunno if a set of value ram is my ticket out of this dead board syndrome, atleast i thought the Infinity quite likes this Teamgroup stuff. I guess an RMA is not an option either since i flashed it to the 01/12/06 bios and the stock northbridge heatsink was replaced for a Thermalright HR05. not gonna spend my money on another Infinity for sure, and theres no telling if the long awaited RD will ever reach Europe, and if I end up with another dead board just because i flashed to a new bios, im gonna jump of a roof....which is probably what Rgone and other admins want me to do at this point, lol.

No life in my board, maybe there should be a sticky warning ppl not to flash to the latest bios, since it's wrecking stuff Oh well back to my crappy..but working asus microatx untill theres an functional board out there. BTW. there is nothing mentionin it being a beta bios, i thought i was lownloading the latest/most stable bios at the moment...but i was horribly wrong. you'll have to excuse my attitude, i dont want to flame DFI, i just want to spare others from this kinda "accidents". *peace*
