  1. Hi all,i´m too with this prob,6600gt dual monitor setup. In my secondary display when it comes from stand by or i change the resolution or even the refresh rate it goes blank displaying the message not optimum mode. Even a clean wxp didn`t work so i guess it`s the monitor or gpu. Best Regards
  2. Hi there,i have a winny 3200+ at 2680 mhz,under 100% load 40º,1.705 vcore. Watercooled. Regards
  3. I believe if you cannot get stable at 200(1:1),then is your memory controller, the cpu is just at the limit, lower the mhz to get that. I think it`s better to stick to what you`ve got right now 180 divider. Cpu mhz is more important in oc/performance. Regards
  4. I`ve narrow it it down to 2 options: The memory controller on the winchester or Bios. I tend to the first and in that case im in a bad luck. Regards Edit:ok,i´ve just tryed some bios from the t-mod cd and all the same results,so i guess i´ll be messing with the dividers,no ram oc...
  5. Yes but what i don`t understand is that if i lower the multi to 4x i can go up to 260 on ram. With 10x multi on cpu i can go to 210,it`s the cpu mem controller???
  6. I´v just maked more tests and i could get to 250 fsb 1:1 timing but had to lower the multi to 4x;what do this mean???How can the cpu multibe of an impact??? If anyone reads these thread and could explain something i`ll be apreciated. Regards
  7. ok,nothing really new, manage to get 211mhz with no errors with the new bios and losing some timings, but the roblem persists at 215mhz. If it is really a power supply problem, well i ill only know for real buying a new one. I´m gonna try...well,something. Do you guys have any sugestion on what the problem could be?(beside the power supply) Tx Edit:Ok,i´ve tryed this brand "bufallo" memory, from another computer witch i have and guess what:they do overclock till 220 fsb with default timings-2.5-3-3-8(no errors in memtest, nothing,ZERO).Oem memory better than patriot???I cannot belive it that i`ve payed for this shi%& and they don`t overclock;i even tryed using those timings on the patriot and it still gives errors on the memtest. So i guess the psu is alright, freaking stupid memory`s!!! What do you guys think about this???
  8. well tx for all the help,i´m gonna try that bios and see if it helps, later i`ll say!!! Have to go to work, eheheh. Tx for all the fast help you provided mate. Regards
  9. Sorry for the nobish by my part:ic`s is the chips with the memory uses? I´ll try to find some info in how to do that.
  10. Tx for the reply,i´ll make the signature. So you say it`s the psu??? 500w power isn`t enought or is it the brand???
  11. Hi all,i´ve benn reading/searching this forum for an answer to my problem, didn`t find so far!!!!! Hope someone here could help me,here`s my situation: First my specs:a64 3200+,2009mhz winchester core;dfi nforce 4 ultra-d;2x 512 ram patriot llk 2-3-2-5;power supply from levicom 500w. With this said: I´m doing some overclock, folowing the guide provided here i could sucessfuly managed to get 2690mhz (1.7v) stable on the amd,no prob here. Next step was the ram, folowing the same guide i could only go to 210 mhz,if i went into 211 memtest gives errors at 94% of test 5,no matter what voltage i apply into it,and lossing timings also didn`t help. I cannot believe this memory is so bad to overclock!!!Is it a matter of bios???I´ve tried several with t-mod cd,same thing every time. Could anyone help in pointing some solutions/variables to try!!! Tx in advance for all the help you can give.
