Good, how is your 5000+ running?

Just got the BETA BIOS, seems pretty good....took really long to flash, longer than normal, but hey its still being revised.

I can say im 99.9 percent sure it doesn't matter, as i know that if you have a floppy drive one of those plugs should go into it.

Hey guys. Quick question, how do you disable the onboard Karajan audio module from the BIOS on the M2R/G?

I destroyed my 4600+, not really, i just pitted the top of the processor (IHS) as well as the bottom of the heatsink. This basically cuts out my ability to overclock, because im idling at 41 degrees, and maxing out at 58 degrees, on stock speeds, with Zalman 9500. I used the wrong type of rubbing alcohol, a kind that uses ethenol and other harmful (to metal) substances. So i went and bought some 99% Isopropyl (1% water) from the drug store, and cleaned and reapplied. I got like 1 degree lower....yippity fricken do. Oh well you make mistakes and you learn.

i think you might have to wait for a BIOS update before you can run the Santa Ana.

Im a little unsure about that Boosta, granted it specifically says for Intel version motherboard, but im going to try them out anyways.

OMG, I have a Western Digital HDD and a NVIDIA chipset....arg....thanks for letting me know about the issues guys, thanks a whole bunch. lol.

How do you disable the LAN your not using in the BIOS, because i would like to do so.

Good news everyone... I got windows installed successfully Installed all my drivers - Video, sound, chipset, RAID, Installed Dual core optomizer from AMD's site went to windowsupdate.com and did all that Everything seems to be running very well, the Realtech sounds AMAZING, gonna install Hitman that came free with my comp. Two minor problems though: 1. The power button on my case wont turn on the computer, i have to use the EZ touch buttons (restart button works though) 2. When in windows when I right click my computer and click properties, is doesnt open right away, it takes a good 2 minutes of just stalling before it actually appears, seems like the hard drive is being utilized by something at all times i donno hard to explain but nothing major. BTW that Media test failure thing was nothing....my floppy connector was backwards. WOW this comp is amazing and my screen is so sharp/clear/vivid w/e very nice impressed by everything.

Hey everyone, just set up my new rig and I cant seem to boot from the floppy drive so i can update the BIOS. I dont have windows isntalled yet. Ive set the boot priority at the floppy being number 1, and when I turn on the computer it just says BOOT from CD: Nvdia Boot agent and some copyrights and it stalls and then it says PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable PXE-M0F: Exiting Nvidia boot agent. Then it does the same thing a second time and says DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER. Also, my CPU fan speed reads 0, CHS fan reads only some times and sometimes its just a bunch of random letters. Oh and 1 question, in the BIOS under PC health there are 2 CPU CORE TEMP readings....which one is the right one cause one read 43 degrees and the other reads 53 degrees. Please help! Its my first build.
