  1. i Just RMA'd mine, Im pretty pissed... no replacement either!
  2. i tried to figure out where all of those go, my bios is setup way different. do u happen to have more detailed list of timings?
  3. oh wow thanx, ill try those timings out. It was pretty crazy that windows install was crashing lol. i Just RMA'd them, ill try these timings out, if they work then that will save me a lot of trouble, thanx a bunch
  4. im doing a fresh install of windows with some generic ddr400 ram right now. now only time will tell....
  5. Ive been having some cache dumping blue screen problems, and im trying to figure out what piece(s) of hardware is causing this. im pretty sure its the RAM, but possibly could be my GPU. I currently have 2x512 PC4800 OCZ plat. EL running on my system. I Ran them through 2 cycles in memtest on default speeds and also on my overclocked speeds and i got no errors. yet im still getting blue screen cache dump. Is it possible that my ram is just not compatable? Anyone out there that has this perticular mobo that has a stable system and stable OC have any ideas on high performance ram? as a side note, i also ram prime95 for 12 hrs on 2 instances (see my sig for OC) and had no errors or flags. as well as had the amd dual core drivers and the dual core hot fix active.
  6. figured it out lol, initally i had a usb and ps/2 keyboard hooked up, one of the keys was stuck on my ps/2 keyboard. im glad it isnt anything serious... but now i feel like an idiot lol. thanx for the reply BTW
  7. was just idling in wondows.. and my system speaker just ramdomly started beeping. its a steady beep, i checked speedfan and im idling at 21c, i also checked all of my fans on my mobo, CPU, chipset and gpu. i restarted checked my temps in bios and their 21 as well. it is also beeping in bios. any help? its beeping right now still.. possibly a virus?
  8. i downloaded the windows hotfix, the amd dual core drivers and edited my registry for the hotfix. now i run pretty darn smooth. although i DO think that the chipset is probably going to stay a problem until i can get a new HS, most. probably the evercool VC-RE. I will let ya guys know if the new Chipset HS helps with the crashing. Go here for the Hotfix driver, tutorial, and amd drivers: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=896256 http://www.perambula.net/res/WindowsXP-KB8...-v3-x86-ENU.exe http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/Techni...1_13118,00.html
  9. are u getting a blue screen?? i may be having the same problem, ive got the Infinity SLI, i get a blue screen every once ina while. its not cpu temp. i ran prime on both cores for 6 hours+ not even breaking 42c. i was thinking the GPu is causing the "cache dump" but who knows, maybe it just the chipset.
  10. awesome thanx, speedfan seems to be working nicely. hopefully "remote" is the cpu lol. im going to give ntune a shot too.
  11. i cant seem to find ANY monitoring programs out there for the NF4 infinity sli board ANYWHERE. anyone know of any?? its a bit difficult to OC without seeing the temps
  12. well im still crashing when playing games. looks like i should whip out the testing programs.
