Last chance or the board is coming out :)

I also had alot of stability issues. Today I bought an A8N-Sli and everything is okay now. Too bad the Asus board isn't half as "pretty" as the DFI. -
K.. I found out my memory was on 2.45v. That's a bit low, isn't it? It has to be 2.6v +/-1v. Could that have been the cause of my instable computer? The 2 long beeps are gone now. I hope it never comes back. It still takes quite some time before I see the videocard bios, but the beeps are gone for now.. Could some please please give me the best stable settings for a X2 4400+ with 2x 1gb PC3200 memory (UCCC). I have everything set to auto now.

Should have knocked harder.... Just did a reboot and i had to do at least 15 before I could get in to Windows.. It either hangs in: The line that says nForce4 SLi (line before detecting IDE drives) Or the Detecting IDE drives line Or it goes all past that and the next screen just shows a black screen with a blinking cursor on the left (top) I'm confused..

I tried: (on a bare set-up) New psu (no difference) Different RAM modules in all slots. (no difference) Different CPU (PROBLEM GONE!) So i thought it was my CPU. So I put my X2 in an Asus mobo. Also no problem. I think my mobo doesn't like dual core..... I'll wait till the next bios update, if the problem persists I think i'll buy a different board. Which I would hate cause the DFi looks great should be great if I read the reviews.. Just my luck.. .

High! I have a really strange problem.. Here it comes, it's quite a story.. I purchased my new PC and started building it. When I tried to boot up, I could get in the bios but with alot of freezes and reboots. Every time I started my PC I heared two long beeps. Didn't work and couldn't flash the bios. I found someone with a 3000+ and put that one in. No problemo, no beeps. I flashed the bios and put in my X2. And it worked!!! Finally I could start playing with my new pc. I was so friggin happy cause I thought I killed something. Manyways, every time I boot up now I hear these 2 long beeps. Takes about a sec of 5 before I see the bios from my videocard. After that I see the bios of the mobo. And then it boots..Well, it's supposed to. Sometimes it hangs when he's trying to detect the IDE drives, but that problem hasn't shown it's face for a while now. (knock on wood) BUT WHAT DOES 2 LONG BEEPS MEAN?!?!!?!? I cannot find it anywhere, and the DFi dude who helped me couldn't tell me either..When I reboot my pc I don't hear them, only when I start up my pc. I really confused with what it could be. I'm afraid my pc is like a timebomb now. Could "blow" any second now.. I tried almost everything. All bios settings are on default in the CPU/Memory section, except the voltage for the CPU. All other settings are okay. My second question is about OC-ing. I cannot find any info on overclocking UCCC memory. The timings now are 3-4-4-8 (stock) @ 2.5v. I've set the CPU to 1.45v (is that okay, or too mush if it's not overclocked) Can someone please advice me on the bios settings. I found a GREAT tutorials here, but they are all for fast and expensive Memory. I cannot find DFi bios settings for this Memory. I hope someone can help me get rid of the 2 long beeps or tell me what the best biossettings are for stock and overclocking? :dog:. Many many thanks in advance!
