Cool! Something to watch out though. Watch your SATA HDDs, I experienced file corruption when I reached a certain high PCIe freq, unfortunately, I can't remember exactly what setting that was. Just make sure you have a back up of your important files. Happy OCing.

Good job! One question though, are you using PCIe graphics card at this point of OC, FSB262MHz ? Very curious, coz' I could only push my system way beyond FSB250MHz when I'm using a PCI graphics card but not when a PCIe graphics card is installed. Heck, I was even able to push it upto FSB289MHz. If you are using a PCIe card, would you mind sharing your PCIe frequency setting? Thanks.

There shouldn't be any issues with the IDE slot. Currently I have 2 DVD drives there, 1 master and 1 slave drive. One time I did connected an IDE HDD there just to copy files from the IDE HDD to one of my SATA HDD.

Going great there.... try higher...go for ramming speed...hehehe... be sure to monitor the temps. 1.8V for vdimm should be fine enough. Not really sure though for your ram which would work better, 1:1 or 4:3, I guess you just have to try both settings and run some benchmarks to see. It seems that you have a great board and CPU there... you're in luck.

I suggest you start with AUTO first, if that does not satisfy your needs, pump it up. From my experience, 115 is optimal, that is using an NVIDIA 6600GT. I don't think this will cause any problems. Of the 2 built-in LAN ports, only one is based on PCIe, the other one is still PCI. It seems that they've changed the naming convention for the BIOS update, but the description fits the latest bios. Maybe it's the same bios after all. For CPU voltage, first try to use the default, it may give you the performance you need. Otherwise, don't go over 1.5V with aircooling. I guess the best answer would be for you to monitor the temps and see for yourself how high the temps go with your voltage setting. If you're staying at a relatively cooler climate, then you'll have better chances. Good luck with your adventure... hope to see some results. Cheers.

250FSB is definitely do-able... have you seen my post before... FSB 250MHz FINALLY ...was using a P4-520 2.80GHz at default multiplier. Running at 3500MHz (250 * 14) with bus speed of 1000MHz. This was done using PCIe graphics card 6600GT-GS-GLH Gainward. If you read further on that thread, I was even able to go as high as 255FSB with PCIe graphics card.

Before I got my 570J I was using a 2.8GHz cpu and I was able to push the FSB upto 250MHz with the default multiplier, however it was done with a PCI graphics card.

Actually from my experience on this board, leaving the PCIe to a fixed 100Mhz would only give a around 10% OC. Some people get to squeeze more if the PCIe is set to AUTO. For me setting it to a higher (around 115Mhz) would allow higher OC.

nope... it's a Sunon 40mm. All the 40mm I saw (when I was searching) looked almost the same.
