  1. This might help you: http://forums.overclockers.com.au/showpost...;postcount=2282
  2. Few reasons. I need to buy the whole system from one place (tax thing). It needs to be Australian. Great experience from them. Which cooler you guys think is good from that link
  3. Helps a great deal! only problem, is that I need to find a cooler from here: Coolers Which one would you recommend?
  4. Does anyone knows if there is a problem to fit the Thermalright 120 extreme air cooler inside an NZXT hush?
  5. The connector that you use on DVD drives for example. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molex_connector
  6. The only problem with the 620w is that it does not have 4x6pin connectors for XFire (each 4870 uses 2) BUT you can always use a Molex adapter.
  7. The 620W will be more than enough power from what I need, but the only problem I see is that is has 2x6pin connectors, and Crossfiring 4870 need 4. Do you think I can add one connector in the future? I have changed the memory to Patriot 4096Mb Extreme Performance PC-6400 because there had been a lot of RMAs on the Crucial Ballistix. Which cooler would you recommend from the page I mentioned above? I was thinking between the CNPS 9500 or the CNPS 9700.
  8. Thanks mate! Let me get this right. 620W will be enough to run crossfire 4870 even that it doesn't have the connectors? Using the ram I mentioned above at stock level, what would be a safe (for beginners) speed that I could to? Which cpu fan would you recommend that can fit on the NZXT Hush from here?
  9. Thanks for the replies guys. So most of you agree that the Q9300 is good enough? the only reason I considered the Q9450 is because of the cache and the multiplier it has. (I'm not sure how much it affects to me, since I don't really feel confortable with OCing) Will the upgrade from DS4 to DQ6 make a big difference for me? The reason I was mentioning the Antec TPQ-850W is because of maybe running in the far future, double 4870. I will need the power, as well as the 12V connectors (it needs 4). Additionally, someone mentioned that the case will not be enough to hold two 4870. What about the memory? is it too low to use it for OC? Thanks! ps- Great review gotdamojo06!
  10. I'm planning to buy a new PC, can you advice me on this parts? The website that I'm planning to get is www.auspcmarket.com.au , so if you think another piece is better, please recommend me from this site. CPU INTEL CORE2 QUAD Q9300 http://www.auspcmarket.com.au/show_product...t[category_id]= MOTHERBOARD GIGABYTE GA-X48-DS4 http://www.auspcmarket.com.au/show_product...t[category_id]= MEMORY CORSAIR TWIN2X 4096MB DDR2 http://www.auspcmarket.com.au/show_product...t[category_id]= GFX Sapphire Radeon HD4870 512mb http://www.auspcmarket.com.au/show_product...t[category_id]= CASE NZXT Hush http://www.auspcmarket.com.au/show_product...t[category_id]= PSU Corsair HX-620 620w http://www.auspcmarket.com.au/show_product...t[category_id]= I want to run XFire in the future, and I'm not sure if to OC it, since I've never done it before After some consulting, people recommended me to change it this: CPU Intel Core2 Quad Q9450 http://www.auspcmarket.com.au/show_product...t[category_id]= POWER Antec TPQ-850W http://www.auspcmarket.com.au/show_product...t[category_id]= But that makes the price ~AU$220 more, which I got a feeling is too much if I don't plan to OC much. What do you guys think? would you change other parts?
