  1. I've never seen more than 3 or 4 fps on either of my proc.....Q6600/QX6850 at clocks up tp 3.6 As Andrew said...It shouldn't produce significant fps as processors are not optimized for graphics.
  2. Godfather II Saving Private Ryan Heat
  3. A motorcyclist is a motorcyclist weather it be on a Harley or a rocket...Just like an Overclocker is an Overclocker weather it be Intel or AMD!...Respect the rider and his choice! Just my 02
  4. Royalfork....From Chess....where a knight simultaneously attacks the King, Queen and Rook!
  5. Summoned three times since 1980... Interviewed for a case regarding a motorcycle accident the second time but was dismissed...probably by the defense because I'm a life long motorcyclist.
  6. I have read a few posts on the subject but haven't had the chance to do any in depth research yet...Thanks again.
  7. Thanks for your thoughts....I did some more benches last night and am seeing your point. It sounds like the general consensus is to run higher clock speeds while running the tightest timings allowed for a given speed..correct? Thanks for your opinions..
  8. I am looking for opinions on these settings. I am currently running my Q6600 stable at 3.42/1520/380x9 @ 1.35v with my ram linked 3:2 = 1013 / 5-5-5-15 @ 2.1v I can also run my system stable at 3.42/1520/380x9 @ 1.35v with my ram linked 1:1 = 760 / 4-4-4-12 @ 2.1v I can also run my system stable at 3.20/1600/400x8 @ 1.35v with my ram linked 1:1 = 800 / 4-4-4-12 @ 2.1v with a little lower benches! The first two ram settings give almost the exact same benchmark numbers from what I can tell. My question is if it's better to run 1:1 slower speed with tighter timings or 3:2 faster speed with looser timings. I typically play COD4, GTR, some Crysis and some older FPS games...And would I see any benefits to running the 1600 fsb over the 1520? Specs in sig. Opinions respected...............Thanks Duane
  9. Bravo, If your fan is running much faster I imagine your temps are higher. It sounds to me like you have to much thermal compound and now you have temp issues. You will probably need to re mount your heatsink. Without a way to monitor your CPU temps we are just guessing. I use Coretemp and Realtemp but there are others available. Good luck!
  10. I blew out my knee trying something similar involving 12 trash cans and a wooden plank on my little brothers BigWheel back in 72....heheheh......joking...........People are crazy!
  11. Wow....good Card! Pierre over Penn Silva over Machida Bonner over Jones Guida over Diaz.........I hope..Can't stand Nate Diaz Fitch over Gono
  12. Read, Read Read and Read some more........Then start out slow with a decent overclock guide. Make sure to understand the relationships of all of the components and monitor your temps. Look in the Overclock section for the sticky guide....Good luck.
  13. Michael Schenker live in Tokyo 1997.....playing old UFO tunes..
