Mushkin Black LVL1

Recommended Posts

Ok guys

Been having some issues with my ram, i was getting random freeze up in games which i chased the problem for a long long time. Finally i tried downclocking my ram 1 day to the next divider below 200 and my problems went away. Thing is i know im taking a performance hit by doing that.

i have been to the mushkin site trying to get help from the people over there but it has not been helpful.

Things i have tired

1. Upping voltage and setting timings to some suggested by mushkin tech

2. I tried moving the ram from the orange to the yellow slots, this resulted in no boot.

3. 1 stick seems to give me the same problem so i think its a compatibility issue.

Ideas?

BTW the ram in question is that in my sig, if i cant get this working right it might just give me a reason to get that 2GB OCZ kit.
