sku Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 Need some help overclocking my memory Here are my specs AMD 64 3700+ Clawhammer sckt 754 LANPARTY UT nF3 250Gb MUSHKIN XP3200 Black 2x512ddr XFX Geforce 6800gt Ultra Xconnect 500w PSU BIOS version : 2005/05/04 At the moment I cant seem to overclock my ram at any speed, windows will fail to boot, and the computer will just restart. Ive tried a number of settings, but I think I have to do a lot more tweaking than I think. However this is my first time overclocking and Im not to sure of what to do. Ive tried... FSB 250mhz Cpu multiplier x10 Default ram timings 2-2-2-7 Ram volt 2.8 FSB 230mhz Cpu multiplier x11 Defaul Ram timings 2-2-2-7 Ram volt 2.8 FSB 220mhz Cpu multiplier x12 Timings 2.5-3-3-7 Ram volt 2.8 Any help or thoughts?
