red930 Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 Click on the link in my sig so you can get your sig created so we have a better idea of what you have. On a quick note, try re-flashing the BIOS with the other CPU in-place, shut down, clear CMOS, install the 330J and then try.
skimad Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Hi Thanks for your reply. I´ve done so and it doen´t work, it´s always the same error. Is it a bios problem ?
red930 Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 If the 3.2 works, and (according to DFI's website) that board is supposed to support the 330J, then I would gander to guess the CPU might be defunct. Do you have another board you can test it on or somewhere to go to get it tested?
skimad Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Hi The celeron is good, i´ve tested it on a GigaByte 915G-Pro and it boots normaly. I have even tried with other 330 J and it´s the same thing. All the components are cheked on other boards, that´s why i can´t understand this, i doesn´t seem to be a component malfunction. Thanks
red930 Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Are you using any USB devices with it?
skimad Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Nope I´m testing it only with cpu, vga mems and fdd on a testbed and the only thing i get is a black screen.
Legolas337 Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 That is the same issue that i am having with mine. It just wont boot. Good luck. I think these boards are somewhat defective on CPU support. lol
skimad Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 Yap It semms the same problem and that isn´t resolved by the last public bios. Isn´t there any other bios?
red930 Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 Unless a newer BIOS is listed on DFI's website, then 04/07/05 is the latest BIOS.
