Atomic Posted May 31, 2005 Posted May 31, 2005 Yeah that must be what happened to me because I was when waiting in line I was In a game so when I got out of the game I saw it was ready so I clicked the save button then it was showing really fast speeds and It took a few minutes to come down. yeah. it's a glitch with the way firefox calculates the download speed. I think it takes the amount downloaded and divides it by the time spend downloading or something like that. Not a superfast download unfortionatly :-( just a glitch
Smoken Joe Posted May 31, 2005 Posted May 31, 2005 Right now there is some pretty stiff competition between two cable company's in the same area downloads are super fast 1500 is not uncommon at all. I have known people to need to call to get the advertised download speeds though. Roadrunner was pretty lazy wen DSL was the only competition. The entire HL 2 downloded in just over an HR. Guest Kronos Posted June 1, 2005 Posted June 1, 2005 I max out my 4.2mbit connection through COMCRAP on a daily basis. I wish I had more bandwidth. Maybe I can steal some from Korea.
