Vista Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 I cannot seem to get the rig in my sig to show a S.M.A.R.T. report from my drives. The Western Digital website seems to indicate that the Raptors support S.M.A.R.T., but I've tried both the WinDlg.exe WD Data Lifeguard and Speedfan utilities to no avail. WinDlg.exe shows my logical drives, but no physical drives. Speedfan shows nothing under the S.M.A.R.T. tab drop-down menu. It is as if the physical drives are hidden by the array. I do have S.M.A.R.T. enabled in the BIOS. I see a lot of you out there with Raptors and Hitachi's in RAID 0, is this a known issue? Does the Hitachi's S.M.A.R.T. feature work in RAID 0? I did try forum search and googling but could find no links stating one way or the other. This isn't a show-stopper, but I'd like to know!
