savage70 Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 Hey fellow OCCers whats up? I would like to know if MCT 5 can be mixed with water. My comp had a small leak for a while now. The reservoir is well below the minimum. I have to order the stuff(MCT5) so I would like to know if it is compatible with water?And if so would it affect the MCT 5 in any negative way? psycho_terror Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 (edited) mct-5 is the oiliest feeling fluid i've used, so i'd have thought not right away, but i rinsed the last of mine out of my loop a while ago and it mixed better than i thought. if you have a small amount left you should try mixing some and leaving it for a while, see if it seperates etc. if not, i'll try it for you.
