Issue With New Heatsink Temps

So i got my zalman 92 mm fan today with artic silver 5,installed it and all but my temps are not any different from the stock cooler

 

 

Maybe 2 c lower thats all whats the deal?

Pull it off and check that yours is actually flat. I've read more than a few times people complaining that their 9500A's suffered from some poor quality control in manufacturing and the heat sink base was anything but flat.

 

If it is not flat, lap it.

 

If it is flat, re-seat it and be sure to follow the instructions provided on Arctic Silvers website http://www.arcticsilver.com/arctic_silver_instructions.htm when applying your AS5. Then keep in mind that many people report that AS5 seems to need a break in period and that your temps will drop a bit over the course of a few days.
