neocyber Posted November 11, 2001 Posted November 11, 2001 I have recently tried to overclock my 800mhz duron processor, but have failed after numerous numbers of tries. I have connected the L1 and all of the L7 bridges, except for the individual dot. My multiplier is 8x, and if i go to bios my FSB can be automatically changed to 133 mhz. So this is how it looks. (if attempted overclock) 1066 MHz (@1.856V or somtimes 1.840V) 8x (Multiplier) 133 (FSB) 133 (DRAM) the problem is everytime i exit bios and type "Y"(!!!) It does post. Is it because i have a 250W powersupply?? should i get a 300W powersupply?? And should i get a 5000 RPM cpu fan or a 5500 CPU fan. Please anybody with any suggestions, and tips, please reply ASAP. ---------------- PCchips 810LR 800MHz duron processor 312 MB SDRAM SIS 730s Chipset Intergrated Audio and Video (64M) DVD Drive 44X CD Drive 250W PSU
