Worth Upgrading?

Hi all,

 

I have a Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 cpu overclocked to 3.4mhz and am wondering if it is worth me upgrading to a Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 LGA775 'Wolfdale' 3.16GHz (1333FSB) OR Intel CPU Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 95W Energy Efficient 2.4GHz.

 

Would i see any difference in performance with the Quad chip or is it worth me waiting a year or 2?

 

I know there all pretty good chips but i cant work out which is the fastest, i thought the Wolf would be as it run at 1333FSB but im not sure when you throw a Quad in the mix.
