hardnrg Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 BOOYAH! 140+ MB/s "flatline" 4x 250GB Hitachi T7k250 SATA2 (RAID-0, NCQ enabled, HighPoint 2300 RAID controller) The burst rate appears to be capped by the 1x PCI-E bandwidth, but meh, it's the average read and access time that are the most important... so this is a better situation to the erratic performance of the nVidia RAID-5, despite nVidia's higher burst rate (320+) edit/update: OC'd to 3.6 GHz, PCI-E @ 125 MHz (instead of 100 MHz) increasing the PCI-E bus speed 25% results in a 22.3% increase in Burst Rate speed... confirming my thoughts on the bandwidth cap Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
