Help with putting Intel Socket 478 Fan on GPU ?

First of all i want to ask how good is this fan that comes with the Pentium 4 Northwood 2.8 Ghz Socket 478 Processor ?

And i want to put this on my GPU Radeon 9250 and maybe on 7600 GT later .

Should i put only the fan or the heatsink also .

How should i put the fan on the GPU so that it stays there .

Why do you want to mount that cooler to your video card? I only ask because most of the time its not an easy task.

You'll probably have to cut off some pieces of the cooler to make it fit or you'll need to drill some holes so you could use some screws and bolts to mount the CPU cooler to your video card.

I didn't know that . I thought that i could just stick the fan on the GPU with something and put the power in and make it work .

there's not much point in putting any CPU heatsink on a 9250... it doesn't really overclock that much anyway, and even if you overclocked it like 500%, it would still suck

a 7600GT is a bit more worthwhile... you could use Arctic Silver Adhesive or Arctic Alumina Adhesive... the latter is cheaper, but not quite as good as the Silver, and also smells like rotting fish and eggs lol

I'd go for the chop, drill, and bolt-on mounting however, because the adhesive is permanent
