grahamdunstan Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Ok well i have just installed my thermalright ultra 120 extreme and got some very unexpected results @2.4 Idle is about 37c and at full load its at 49c How can this be ????? oblivescence Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 LOL. I've got a couple of fans like that around the house actually. Pulled them out of a server back in my hardware days. I figure I'll never use them, but they were just too awesome to go to the dumpster (The square fan is a 120x120x38 for reference, and I believe the big one is rated around 600CFM. I've fired it up, and it's definitely a finger-chopper ) I did some googling, and it looks like the big one is rated for 350cfm and is selling between 60 and 70 dollars. Yikes.
