OK I have a ASUS M2N32 SLI deluxe mobo and am thinking of getting a new cpu.

I want to get the AMD athlon 64 x2 5000+ (ADO5000DSWOF) 2.6ghz black edition dual core w/1mb x 2 cache 90nm 65w (brisbane) 64-bit socket am2 retail boxed no cooling fan (3 years warranty) only $129.00 @ Mwave.com

the multiplier is unlocked from my understanding and you can change it.

So how do I change it? Is there a setting in my Bios?

To Overclock a CPU with a ASUS M2N32-SLI:

1. Enter the BIOS settings.

2. Goto JumperFree Configuration.

Here's the fun part. If you've never overclocked before the mobo can overclock by percentages and make the adjustments automatically with the 'OVERCLOCK OPTIONS' menu option you can OC by 3%, 5%, 8% or 10%.

From the same menu at the bottom you'll find the multiplier setting right above 'ADVANCED VOLTAGE CONTROLS.'

Take some time to read through the ASUS mobo manual. There's a ton of settings you can tweak to OC your system, as ASUS fully unlocks their boards. Here's the link (from the ASUS site) for the ASUS M2N32-SLI.

Hope this helps you out!
