Need help with a build

Well its time to start looking at some upgrades again. Finally switching to dual core so ya trying to learn as much as I can. Anyways I need help with my build because im rusty on all my stuff an no longer know what is good.

 

Im grabbing the E6600 core 2 duo seeing that alot of people have been having good luck with that one and the OC looks like it is pretty solid.

So help me please I need info on a good Mobo and Ram though. I have been using DFI but I have heard things about Gigabyte boards. This is what im lookin at

Is this a good choice on a motherboard for this CPU? Im not looking to go to far with the OC to start maybe 3.2 unless its just begging for more ill prob stick it there.

 

As for Ram I remember G.Skill being extremely good back when I was doing this last so I am just wondering on what yal think I should get. I know I need DDR2 800 but as for companies I am not to smart on it all anymore. So if anyone could suggest some different sets that would be great. I am looking at doing 2 x 1gb for the Ram and I have OCZ in my computer right now and love it so this is what I have picked out please tell me if its a good pair or not for the OC and reccomend some other good ones.

As for price range I have max $330 for CPU $220 for Mobo and I could prob go to about $240 ish for ram thanks for the help. If there is some standard build for this that i missed in the forums feel free to link me up with another thread. And this is the wrong forum probably I guess but I didnt want to post a seperate thread in each forum so yah.

 

Well update on my research. It looks like i should just save a bit and go for a 680i board from either eVga or DFI for my mobo. As for Ram I would like to know what yal think of the above choices but it looks like i should aim for a D9 chip on the Ram which I was looking through everything and found this.
