cchalogamer Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 This is your problem right here! You run your RAM 1:1, so going straight with the FSB (558 = 279x2). You will need some extravoltage on the RAM. How exactly is running his ram UNDER spec a problem? The board previewsthe DDR value aka 558 < 800... I'm personally thinking the board just randomly decides what it likes and doesnt, swap for the E6600 and suddenly it starts running higher FSB no problems (lowered 4300 multiplier and it didnt change behavior too much) Now if you'll excue me i think it's time to get cooling setup properly and see if I can get 400fsb stable b4 midnight (~2.5hrs ) I shal return hehe
kingdingeling Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 @ cchalo, if the RAM is running at only 1.8V's, it might not even do such a little increase. I know its under spec, but I also know my GeIL's won't do DDR2-800 at anything below 2.075 Volts.
