cchalogamer Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 you coudl do a little better with a prebuilt (might i suggest a nice bestbuy deal) but the HP A64s are pretty good. they dont run hot, and can handle a REASONALBE amount of upgrading, a 6600GT or lower, and more ram being reasonable adding a REAL video card would prob kill it due to the crappy PSUs they (and all other OEMs) use. I saw one HP model that almost made me keel over. HP puts their x200 mobo in with a skt939 3500+, a gig of RAM, tv tuner, DVDrw, DVDrom, 250GB hdd in a case matched up with a bestec 300W MAX PSU. That poor processor was probably barely breathing...I felt so sorry for it.
