crawl812 Posted February 28, 2003 Posted February 28, 2003 I run my XP2100 at a 166MHz with a multiplier of 13x. Giving me 2.1GHz. I haven't had a problem yet with any programs, the cpu is at 40* idle and 48* when tortured. I'm running an A7N8X deluxe board. Just like everyone has said here, it depends on the batch of chips. Prior to my current 2100 I had an 1800 T-bred B and I couldn't go higher than 200MHz over stock. Kept giving me stability problems in some games. Also my vcore is up 5% Nm I'm running the Coolermaster CP5-6J31C-A1 setup. So far its been great. I don't have a case fan in yet. Just my crappy P/S's fan, that's it. The rest is at normal room temperature. I plan on getting 2 case fans and a 400W p/s soon tho. The fan on my heatsink flows less than the one I ran before on my XP1800.
