Guest Sauron Posted October 28, 2001 Posted October 28, 2001 I have a problem with overclocking my cpu: I have a pentium 3 450 and a board with jumperless oc support. when i change my fsb, the processor is still at 450 mhz (multiplier is locked to 4.5). even if i change it to 133 mhz, it still stays on 450 Mhz. what could be the problem? Guest FreakyDrOverclock Posted October 29, 2001 Posted October 29, 2001 your p3 has an overclock-protection (like many intel-chips) that means, you can set your mobo to whatever you want, your chip is still locked to 450mhz so here's what to do: 1) crap intel 2) buy amd
