OptikaliLLusion Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 So, my new z5300e and SB Audigy 2 ZS are pretty and all... but the speakers are messed up! I opened up iTunes to hear some music, and while I hear a slight bit of sound, it is overpowered by hiss. Even when I have the volume low enough that there isn't any hiss, I still can't hear much. I installed te Audigy 2 ZS drivers, and the speakers are plugged into the subwoofer correctly... what gives?
DECwakeboarder Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 check your connections, that's the only thing I could see wrong with it. Test the speakers on another pc if you can.
nVidia_Freak Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 I've never had the speakers, but is the sub magnetically shielded? I would assume it is, but if they aren't, try moving it away from the monitor. And I guess make sure you have the cables hooked up correctly, and conected in tightly. OptikaliLLusion Posted December 25, 2004 Posted December 25, 2004 Thanks... this stuff is crazy... if only I could make the rear speakers actual rear speakers instead of "side" speakers. Otherwise, matrix mode makes it quiter, so i turn up the volume, go to normal 5.1... GYAH!
