OptikaliLLusion Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Alright, so I'm gonna be using a RAID setup with SATA drives (another one of the Hitachis in my sig), but have two questions: 1) Is there a noticeable boost in read/write times from SATA to SATA RAID 0? 2) I've heard there are problems with poor RAID performance with the DFI NFII Ultra Infinity. exeter_acres Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 1) YES 2)....yes...compared to some controllers the read/writes are a bit slower....but still faster than one drive..... a seperate controller would be faster.....but not really that much...
