Logitech Z-5500 Or Z-5300e?

Well, I want to put one onto my christmas list, but want to know if I get more bang for the buck. Well, I do, but I want to know if it is worth it. I will be using an Audigy 2 ZS with the speakers, and might get a DVD player for my computer... eventually. Will the 5300s take advantage of Dolby 5.1, DTS, THX, and EAX? I wouldn't mind not having DTS, I can still enjoy surround on DVDs without it, but the other three are essential (Music and games). So will the 5300 satisfy me, or will I need the 5500? Would the Z-640 work just as well? And does iTunes support 5.1, or do the speakers automatically produce 5.1?
