Duke Atreides Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 I have gotten as payment for services rendered an old IBM Thinkpad that is functional. It has Win ME installed and fully updated via online with a 28.8 modem. It has a 150 mhz proc and 48 megs of ram, a 2 Gig HD with 1.3 Gig free. The battery even works, this comp will be for my wife for typing up reports and essays for college. It loads Works fine (albeit slowly) but after install it will not run the program, it gives an error about a corrupt file and I have to close it.
