Hyper Threaded Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 (edited) Got some updated pics of the rig again just now. Worked on tidying the wires a bit more. Specifically, those annoying side panel fan wires, they wanted to run right in the way of the top fan! Still need to work on the wiring 'round the sound card and stuff, possibly some sleeving for the audigy2 panel. Might also get a couple more LED fans and definetely a southbridge heatsink. A couple of quick replies to post more pics, please. Edited August 18, 2004 by Hyper Threaded

Hyper Threaded Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 I like it better on. You can't even see it normally, the window is too small.

hardnrg Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 whoa cool, i didn't realise you could get 92mm led smartfans... i know there's the ufo, but not that one... nice...
Hyper Threaded Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 Yeah, it's a very nice fan, 78cfm. It says 48db on the package, but it's nowhere near as whiny as the old 70mm was, just a powerful air sound by about 3000rpm.
hardnrg Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 nice one... i got the 80mm Smart Fan II... it does 78cfm @ 48dB and 4800rpm... it's noticeable yeah, but not annoying... if i get another air-cooled rig i may well get one of those 92mm led one's... haha, Tt fanboy... Hyper Threaded Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 I wouldn't say fanboy exactly. I searched for several different fans, the TT just happened to fit my needs best. BTW: your fan is 72cfm...
hardnrg Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 75.7cfm actually http://www.thermaltake.com/accessories/dcf...rtfan/a1357.htm you love Tt... heh heh, the high airflow fans are good fans tho imo... so i don't blame you... a nice sound... my mate has an Aero 7 or something and it's f'n annoying... my whole computer at full airflow (24/7) is quieter than his cpu fan and two case fans at like medium...
