chutney66 Posted August 30, 2002 Posted August 30, 2002 Hi I have an old motherboard (BX440) with an AGP slot. I think it is a 1x/2x slot - it only has one break in the slot. I am trying to upgrade my video card but all the cards seem to have two breaks in them for AGP 2x/4x. Is it still possible to get the old style AGP cards? In particular I was looking for a Riva TNT2 32 mg if poss. If anyone could help/explain that would be great. Many thanks
d3bruts1d Posted August 30, 2002 Posted August 30, 2002 I've got some old 1x\2x AGP cards... not sure what they are... I'll PM or post and let you know what they are in a few hours. Later that day.... looks like I was wrong. All the old video cards that I've got arround here are PCI. :/
chutney66 Posted September 3, 2002 Posted September 3, 2002 Thanks for looking. I have eventually solved the problem by buying a newish PCI card. I am waiting delivery to see if it'll be any faster than my current one. Thanks again Ben
