VolcomPimp Posted August 22, 2002 Posted August 22, 2002 I dont have much skills with metal and all so I dono if I could do this, but if I had metal shop I'd try... what if someone made a pc in multiple parts, say you have a mobo in a small box by it's own w/ lots of cooling on it all around keeping it super cool, ide and other cables go out through holes and connect your hd's and devices which can also be cooled if needed in their own metal cases, then some how what if someone made an agp cable that connect a card to the AGP slot like an ide cable, and the AGP card is in its own box thats cooled on it's own and same w/ the pci cards... power supply off on it's own.. the theory is to isolate all the heat into their respective areas and reduce heat in a centralized place... that way if somethin needs to be cooler and can be done easier w/ out other parts contributing to it's heat... you could probly even do water cooling this way, but you could hook it up 2 a bigger tank or something.. heh... anyone think this would work???
