Cooler Master has released its latest mechanical gaming keyboard today with an interesting feature; analog input. The MK850 uses the Cherry MX Red switches many desire for mechanical keyboards but has combined them with Aimpad technology to enable analog input for the full 4 mm range of the key press. This is achieved with an infrared sensor to measure how far you press the key and this information can then be passed to the computer, so you can have the precise control a controller offers while still using your keyboard. It is only the QWER and ASDF keys with the Aimpad technology, but that still covers the universal WASD movement keys. You can disable it with an on/off button though, if you wish.

In addition to the analog input, the MK850 also features five dedicate Macro keys, two precision wheels, and a magnetically attached wrist rest with PU leather. For those who enjoy lighting effects, there is per-key RGB lighting, and you can adjust the lighting using one of the dedicated multi-media keys, where you can also find the Windows-key lock.

The MK850 is available today for $199.99 and is only available with Cherry MX Red switches.
